About:

Laura is a registered nurse who has worked at Royal Columbian Hospital on medical wards, intensive care (ICU) and cardiac care (CCU). Shen then worked in Older Adult Community Nursing and specialized in palliative care clients. Laura has also worked as a nursing instructor at Vancouver Community College and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is currently the clinical research nurse for the COPD Transition Team at Vancouver General Hospital.
