How can I see a respirologist?
If you would like to see a respirologist, please see your family doctor or a specialist to refer you to us.
Have your doctor fill out this referral form and include at least a brief medical history, reason for referral, and any recent test results (for example, a chest x-ray, blood tests, or breathing tests); and fax it to our clinic at 604-875-4695.
We ONLY book patients with a referral faxed from their doctor.
The Centre for Lung Health Clinic specializes in the treatment of pulmonary conditions such as: Asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, occupational and environmental lung diseases, sarcoidosis, pneumonia, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, pleural disease, respiratory neuromuscular disorders.
Our current wait to see the next available respirologist is approximately 6 months.
Can I request a particular respirologist?
Appointment specialists are specially trained to match you with the provider or group that’s the best fit for your diagnosis and medical history. But you may wonder if you can request a specialist that you’ve read about or who’s been recommended by a friend or colleague.
We will try to honor the referring doctor’s request, however not all requests are honored due to our physician’s availability.
We won’t grant requests for care team members based on race, religion, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, language, disability status, age or any other personal attribute.
