About:

Jay Beaupre is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) since 2008 and Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) since 2011. After graduating in 2008, he worked as an acute care Respiratory Therapist in the hospital in St. Albert Alberta and then in Flin Flon Manitoba (serving Saskatchewan as well) with a strong interest in Asthma. In 2013 he served as the Asthma program coordinator for various (primary care) community health centres in Toronto and Hamilton Ontario. He also participated in Asthma research in Burlington Ontario and Montreal Quebec. He also worked at for the Lung Association in Toronto Ontario for 2 years as the Quality Improvement and Health Systems Engagement manager for their provincial Asthma Action program. During this time, Jay was a conference speaker and workshop facilitator for the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care (CNRC) conference in Lake Louise Alberta. During the COVID years, he worked in home oxygen, CPAP therapy and Pulmonary Function testing in Hamilton and Burlington Ontario. Jay has attended the European Respiratory Society (ERS) in Vienna, Austria in 2024 and in 2025, he came to the Centre for Lung Health (CLH) in Vancouver as the new Asthma and COPD Education Coordinator.
