About:
Mohsen Sadatsafavi, MD, PhD, is an epidemiologist and health economist, and Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia. He leads the Respiratory Evaluation Sciences Program (https://resp.core.ubc.ca), a program of outcomes research dedicated to asthma and COPD. His work is concerned with the efficiency of decisions both at the policy level (cost-effective interventions) and clinical care level (Precision Medicine). For his work, he has received salary awards from multiple sources including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. He has authored >210 MEDLINE-indexed publications and has been the member of the Scientific Committee of two recent American Thoracic Society guidelines.
