About:

Freda Tom has over 16 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator in respiratory medicine, mainly involved with pharmaceutical/industry clinical trials, regulatory submissions, research ethics submissions and budget negotiations. She also has experience as a research ethics coordinator at the UBC Clinical Research Ethics Board. Pre and post reviewed a wide range of clinical studies, providing guidance and regulatory compliance to researchers at the UBC Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.

Freda is currently the Project Manager for the Canadian Pulmonary Hypertension Registry with the BC Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Vancouver General Hospital and is responsible for managing the national database led by Dr. John Swiston.
